Your opinions? (grille)

I was thinking of putting in a lower grille on my silver civic. I am gettin the Kaminari lip kit, and
was thinking a black (or silver) grille would look cool (grillcraft?). What u think? yuh, no?

ya they sell like a 2' by 10' sheet for like 3 something... have enough to make about 10 of them. but then it took me 4 hours to cut it out.. since i have a templete to work with i'm sure it would only take me 15-30 mins now but too lazy to do it for others..

Hey civicvtec1ps,

I don't suppose you can take a really closeup shot of the grille material itself could you?
It looks like you're using expanded metal gratting, but what size?????
Damn, my Home Depot only has sheets of 12" x 24"!!!!!!

What are the probabilities for the stuff from home depot rusting? Did you have to spray on a protective coat of some sort or?????

it hasnt rusted yet but then i dont see much rain here in cali. but i do think its a good idea to paint it either with clear coat or something else of your choice because i remember when i first made it, it was all blingin like chrome, now its all dull... as for mounting it, i used fishing lines... only tied up the sides around the OEM grill so i didnt drill holes or anything..
