Sorry guys, by the time I looked at my phone I had a couple of missed calls and messages, and that was the worst time of the fight yet. It's the third time my girl and I had a serious fight over "priorities" and I seriously don't understand why she'd misunderstand my being serious about ownership (my car) to being lack of dedication to her. Always claiming my car is first and she is second. Damn it man... I'd do the same with anything else I own. Call me selfish, but if I don't look after my properties, who would?! I remember a couple of you guys having problems like this too... I need a girlfriend who would understand this, damnit.

Anyway, hope the meet turned out good, looked like no one showed still by 3:15... Hope you guys meet up fine afterwards.

I'm lucky, my GF agreed to come with me to the meet, all the way from L-town. Otherwise, I'm not so sure she would have appreciated giving up her time with me for 'my stupid car'.

Well I hope you guys can work things out because I know you have been with her for quite sometime.
I hate it when girlfriends dont understand that somethings dont always happen everyday, so you have to take advantage of those times (ie..Honda Meets) It doesnt mean that your car is more important...it just means that you want to do something, that you dont always get to do...and you dont want to miss out on. She should understand that this is what makes you happy and by her giving you a hard time only pushes her away from you. Damn Girls!! Here is my point of view.. your girlfriend needs to understand that you are a CAR GUY. That's who you are. The point of the matter is, you are NOT gawking over at other women. You are gawking at CARS. It's your hobby, and it's your passion. She wants more attention, yet she is the only girl in your life. That to me, is pretty selfish.


Here's a couple of possible solutions:

1) Get her into cars, so she's into it as much as you are.
2) Find a replacement, one who is more understanding about who you are, what you do, and supports you no matter what.

Thx guys. I've had talks with her before about this, and we were *almost* on the same page. Yesterday was just a little accident, getting agitated over many other little things, and suddenly the small problem became a big one again. (Hey, isn't that what girls do?)
