TOKICO shocks are out!?
Today I called my friend up so he could tell me how much his friend would charge me for installing my coilovers and after he told me, he said that the shop has Tokico shocks! They run (from the shop) for like $70 each and the shop has been installing them on our cars!
Before you put your B.S. flags up I know that someone said that they were delayed until next year. Maybe you guys need to go to some local shops? If you're in my area, this place is in Alameda, CA and I didn't ask for the name of the shop yet. If you want it, I'll gladly throw it out.

Sometimes, I can see right through myself ...

If they are *seriously* out, I'm definately interested. I know that as soon as I put my Goldlines on, I'm gonna blow my stock struts.
I dont think they are out.
I have not recieved anything from Tokico.
I might be wrong, but I am always looking for new things for you guys and I have not heard anything from Tokico on awhile.
Somebody, please prove me wrong, cause this would be cool if they were out.
Thanks
Rob

i called tokicos themselves, and they said they wont be out till atleast early next year.
however, civichx01(or something like that) said he got them on his car already. its quite possible that the tokicos were rigged to work with our car but i highly doubt they are full replacements as 70 is too cheap and it would be hard to build the control arm in the front.

$70 isn't the retail price, that's just what the shop is giving them away for. That price isn't considered a standard price.
What I'm gonna go do is check this shop out tomorrow. Perhaps Tokico only released them in certain areas? I'll try to get as much info on this as possible.

thats true, only suspension thats close to our is pretty much the rsx. have tokicos come out with shocks for the rsx yet? or another thing possible is it might be an insert, this way it doesnt really have to be designed for the car since the stock strut housing is still used.

What is Tokico's phone #? I'm not asking for it because I don't believe you guys, I DO want it because if the shop can prove to me they have them, I want to ask Tokico what's up.
Here is the web site, it has the company number on top. Tokico Web Page
