Removing Dealership sticker
just to make sure
Do I just keep picking at it then rip it off?
I don't want to rip the sticker off and take my paint along with it

use a blow dryer or heat gun and heat it up for at least 2 minutes, then peel it off. should take all the sticky gunk off with it. if not, use wd-40 to clean up the sticky stuff. and be sure to wax the area.

I used the dishsoap and water trick. Worked great!
Just fill a cup with water and dishsoap mix, use a paper towel to coat the whole sticker with soapy water. The dealership sticker should peel off quite easily.
edit: oh yea, and I found this trick by searching in the detailing forum.

Mine was just a vinyl sticker that peeled right off. I goo goned the junk. If it is an emblem (raised plastic)... use a hair drier and dental floss. Heat the glue up, then slide the floss underneath to pull it off. Goo gone what's left.

I told them when I bought my car that if there was any dealer markings on my car they'd be billed for advertising! They kindly removed them all.

After i removed the stickers...(usually just peeling them off) unless it was a badge of some sort then i would use a heat gun/blowdryer. I used Car wax and basically scrubbed with a soft towel.
