Will DIY void warranty?
Will DIY void warranty?
I received a list of things I wasnt suppose to do to my civic when I purchased it...but alas I lost the list.
I was just wondering if the DIY Headunit replacement would void my warranty?
Also I have components I need to install. But those will not be DIY and I assume professionals would know what they are doing.

No definately not, but here's the thing there are many things they say will void your warranty but I however talked to a mechanic about that whole issue before I started moding and well he basically told me that they have to prove that what you did or moded was the reason for a failure, so do stuff correctly and carefully and you should not have a problem. I did my own and they had no problems.
diy will only void what you work on. if you EVER have any problems with your radio in teh future, even if done by a shop, they will not warrantee your radio. if your muffler drops out teh back of yoru car on the freeway, good luck trying to prove the radio did it.
just the same, you get an intake for your car, and your car suddenly stalls alot, they arent gonna warrantee it, but if you lose radio reception, with only an aftermarket intake, they will warrantee that.
