Anyone who wants a H/O alt..read this!!!!(good news)

If your in the TN area....Dominic Irragi wants to make a kit for our cars. He'll do afree install and price would be around $340 for a 200amp alternator with externat rectifier/regulator and internal fan...his alts are awesome the deal is wicked...

If anyone's up for it...message back here or email me at dmtp@lycos.com. The Ohio generator H/O alt which I have runs for $616 shipped puts out 160 amps and has a 1 year warranty.. for $340 you get 200amps same warranty...Finally a very reasonable price for a wicked alternator..

Cheers
Mohawk

The 3 people I've spoken to about Mr Alternator say that it's a reputable company.

Well if you assumed all your amps actually ran at 100% efficiency you'd be cutting it pretty close with a 1500 watt system like the one I have in mind.

your system would only put 1500watts using sign waves and your woofers resonant frequencies... Realistically the biggest draw you'll ever have playing music is about 50-60amps..but at that point your hearing won't last very long

So a 130 amp alternator would leave you with about 20 amps headroom with all accessories on

the kit will be about $350-360..it's not a rewind..it's a brand new built alternator using an A/C Delco small fanned case with outbord regulator..Same as Ohio Generator...but half the cost..
