Anyone got enough guts to go canyon running with me?
haha...since Tuan wanted me to let you guys know when and where meets were going to be held at...since he felt left out that i went to an S2k meet. I decided to let you guys know my next S2k meet...details are not set yet but i just wanted to know if you guys would even want to go? Its going to be held in the azusa canyons(angeles nat. forest) and we're taking the canyons up and down. Its foremost a S2k meet so i'mma be in the back but if you guys wanna come you can join me and the s2k dudes up there. Anyone interested? If you are then just IM sometime and let me know.
Everything is AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you can't hang then let others pass and take it at your own pace. First and foremost is SAFETY. I dont want to lose a civic guy just cause some guy was on his tail and he decided to take the turns faster than he already was.
I suggest you have at least some suspension mods because i went canyon running on stock ride...NO WAY can you even finish the canyons w/o almost barfing from your stock ghetto ride. We can have a fast/intermediate/slow group. Aiite lates guys.
After the run they're going to dim sum and i dont think theres enough room so we can grub somewhere else. We can take more pics somewhere...cruise down pch and then after that everyone could head out. I don't know. This will take place MOST Likely in october because fires have shut down the roads for now. Give you some time for some suspension mods. Rep Power: 417 eh, knowing me and my heavy foot, i'll fly off going downhill... n i'll probably get way behind going uphill since my cars so damn slow.... canyon runs are fun tho, i just love driving through the topanga pass to get the malibu, too badd theres always that one person backing up traffic but then i'm glad cause they're the ones who prevent me from flying off

Rep Power: 0 haha.... i know that area, i used to live in palmdale but went to school in culver city (62 mile commute, go figure:_doh[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG].... anyways, to bypass the traffic of the 14 fwy we used to take soledad canyon and other canyon roads.... my dad memorized those turns haha.... but anyways, i need to get some shocks first if i decide to do that cuz right now i'm running on ground controls and 2 blown rear struts

and as always with me, if i go i'll know last minute. knowing me and the past few meets i probably wont tho. thats why i dont like getting put on the confirmed list, i never know if i'm going ahead of time. i'll usually know the same day. it sounds like fun tho so i'll try to make it. n who wouldnt want to be drooling over all those s2000s...

Rep Power: 332 Okay as of now here's the info given for the s2k canyon run meet. I'm going for sure but things MAY change as the date comes near because fires are going crazy right now in the angeles forest.
EVENT DATE CONFIRMED: 10-27-2002 SUNDAY
Location: Azusa off 210 Freeway North.
Time: 8:00am meeting time.
Gather location: TBD
Departing: 8:45 (Adv Group) Everyone 5 minute after that.
All cars are welcommed. Please sign up early......
