Good afternoon,

I'm writing today to tell everyone that I have been scammed by one of our fellow 7thgencivic.com members. Their name is ProjectCivic01. They were selling CAI and lowering Springs on the Marketplace forum.

On August 7th, I sent ProjectCivic01 or Richie Ho a money order for $210USD. It has been several weeks and he has not sent me anything. I checked with my bank today and they said that he cashed the money order on August 23rd Friday. I can contact the authorities in his area, Houston, Texas and his bank also.

What I would like to ask my fellow 7thgencivic.com members is, anyone that lives in the Houston, Texas area (and I know there is a lot of you there with amazing cars). His name is:

Richie Ho

and his address that he gave me is

11438 Weathering Oaks
Houston, Tx. 77066

If someone in the Houston, Texas area knows where this is an can provide me any information on this address or this person. I would like to contact the authorities.

You have all the info you need to call the police. You've got a name, address and proof your check was cashed. Call information (411, or whatever the Canadian number is) and get the number for the Houston Police Department.

Tell us the specifics:

1. Did you contact him after he cashed the MO?
2. Are you sure he didn't ship it and it got lost in the mail?
3. How did you contact him, Email, Phone, or AIM?

Give us all the specifics and then we can make our own judgement.

you might get cr@pped on for putting up his address....IMO its not that bad considering hes doing scandalous cr@p,but ive seen so many people flame others for posting there private info....just to let ya know

Dude that sucks. You should probably also Post this in the South Forum if you have'nt already. I know they'd read this in a heart beat. Also, you should put in the Title, something like Attn: Houston ppl. They'll probably wind up burning his house down or something, I know how those Houston guys get down...

Hmm id never try to buy anything from oe of our members unless hey a senior member and up caue some beotch might just make a name and try to scam ppl on the site. But if he was a senior or somethin i would be suprised[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

I did contact him several days and weeks after I sent the money order, but did not hear anything. I contacted him today and his e-mail address is gone.. I got a delivery failure.

If it was sent internationally. If it a felony and does hold US regualtions that he broke.
I am not sure how it is in Canada, but you can file a "Notice to appear" for the guy at that address.
If he does not show on your request or sometimes the states request, he will have a bench warrant issued.
If it goes that far, he proved his guilt and would be in DEEP SH@T.

i live in houston give me about 30 seconds grrrrr damn internet , never useful when you need it, well he lives with his parents [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] because i cant find anything under that name , and there phone number is unlisted so no luck there, ill check and see if i can find a map or something and track him down that way
