looking for a"diy" for a dc header???
I can try to give u a step-by-step I installed mine about a month ago.
before anything you need 10mm and 12mm sockets and a good torque wrench with extensions, a new gasket and jus in case wd-40
1) Jack up both front corners make sure to use jack stands. get under your car in the middle where the header lies and take off the two bolts that connect your downpipe to the upper piece of the header, it's a 12mm I believe, theres two of them and between them starts the downpipe from the upper piece of the header. These bolts are HARD to take off I SUGGEST waiting a night before working on it, wait atleast 4 hours.
2) Take off the 6 10mm bolts on the old header, you don't have to take off the heat shield, I didn't but it's easier access. All I did was after a few bolts I bent the shield down so I can get better hand room for using my wrench. Use wd-40 on all these bolts cause I stripped one of mine and paid Honda 40 bucks. Be very careful. You will see a bolt on the WAYYY bottom of the header, don't worry about that th'as jus to keep the heatshield on the bolt DOES NOT connect to the header bracket, the header is only held on by the 6 bolts that are mounted on the block. The last 2 bolts on the right are hard cuz you need a good extension for those, make sure you have proper tools man.
3) Then take off the old header and take off the old gasket and replace it. Honda sells one for 4 bucks.
4) Now reverse it: Put on each bolt using the 10mm and the extension you are comfortable with each bolt. TIGHTEN THEM UP! I only have 4/6 bolts on and it's fine (one stripped off and the other one was stripping but I got it off and I didn't wanna put it back due to it's condition) Go under the car once again and take the 2 12mms (it could be 10mm I dont remember) and tightenthem up, you'll need a LONG AZZ extension for these bolts, you'll see wha I mean when ur lying under ur car and tryin to loosen/tighten upside-down bolts.
5)Turn on engine and if u don't hear rattlin u did well. If u did then it's the gasket between ur block and new header, tightten them hard and try again.
GOOD LUCK!

EDIT: I forgot to mention: the heatshield has 3 10mm bolts, only 2 of them are part of the primary 6. One is on the bottom part of the header and it is almost impossible to get down there. After you take off the two top 10mm's you can jus bend the heatshield all the way down and then continue with the bottom 4 10mm.

You don't need any pictures. Remove the heatshield, then the bolts that go through the header and into the engine. Remove the 2 bolts that connect the header to the downpipe and put new header in. If you don't think you can handle that, pay someone to do it. This is probably one of the easiest things to do yourself.

wow man, there are like 8 bolts to undo and then redo, it's really not that hard at all. just get under there and look to see where the bolts are. you don't really even need a DIY, much less pics.

can't put the heatshield back on, there's no socket for the bottom bolt that held it on ----> mad rattles if you do. looks cooler anyway. gets hot as hell underneath the hood though. good luck.
