Tubeless Tires??
Tubeless tires? To my knowledge, every tire sold today is a tubeless tire. The only time I have ever heard of tubes in automobile tires was many years ago. I believe tubes were used when there was a punture in the tire a shop would just put a tube inside of the tire similiar to a bicycle tire. I don't think they use them anymore. But yes tubeless tires can be patched provided that it is a fairly small puncture and that the puncture is not on the sidewall.

Tubeless - A tire construction which uses a rubber innerliner inside the casing to prevent air leakage and eliminate the need for an inner-tube.
I wouldn't reccomend a patch, sure its a "quick-fix" but not permenant

tubless means that the tire seals against the rim making an air tight seal. The bead of the rim holds the tire to the wheel.
A tire with a tube would wiegh more and be harder to balance.
