incase anybody else was wondering, i got the emblems off ebay, 2 for 20$ shipped. as far as putting on the grill its just double sided tape.

thats all aftermarket emblems come with anyway..just peel off the back and stick em on. ive never had any problems with them..in fact, it was kinda tough getting the red emblem off the back that i had on there.

I don't like it. The rest of the car looks good, just not the tail lights. Sorry if I don't like the so called "Rice Style". I'm into the clean OEM look. I can say you have no taste b/c you like them, but I didn't. So let my opinion be as I'll let your opinion be.

yeah, I really think that the tails do look a little ricey, but hey... whatever floats your boat. I don't plan on changing my tail lights until they come out with something that DOESN'T look like a$$... could be a while though, since alot of rice inspired retard parts are hitting the shelves.

Well, Inca. . . I gotta give you props for keeping the car relatively clean. And that is a COOL color to work with. . . not seen but ONE in Inca around north Seattle. Tint the windows (if you can in your state) and it would tie all the CF stuff in NICELY.

Anyway, I have the same TYC tails in chrome. I get some flack from a few of the locals, but I chose them because it completes my clean look. With a silver car, it's pretty simple, but I still think it's a bit unique in my area.

juscallmetoyota: i respect your opinion about the tails, honestly i did think twice before putting them on.. i just wanted tails that went with the carbon fiber/black/gold thing i had goin, and didnt like how the stock ones looked. too red. i did buy dereks old smoked tails and have them here, so maybe ill put those on and take some pics to compare.

me likes. how much and where did you get the goldlines, if you don't mind me asking? the tail lights don't really look that bad but i still like the stock ones just because it's all red. now, if you were to stick some red turn signal bulbs in that one then i think it'll be a different story.

Right on. I did that and it looks totally trick. Far as I know the local authorities don't care because they're still red bulbs. Instead of turning the signal cups red, it really just darkens them a little. Then when they light up red, those claw shapes for the signals look badass.

I snagged a set of Nokya's to accomplish this, since the place I go to didn't have the red Polargs that fit. I had to go dual filament to get the right size/plug bulb, but they light up only when signaling, anyway. And the guy at the store (owner) didn't charge me the dual filament price as he couldn't supply me with the exact bulbs I needed. (They still make a profit. It's not like there's no money in accessories. . . . right guys?)

from one incapearl to another. i think it loks dam good. those are the tails i wanted to get , the only diff is that the once i saw did not have the little nipples all around the lights. othere than that where did you get them. ?? CF emblem looks chill.. i dont like the black backround in the headlight, i saw a place online when you can custom order the backround to a color you want, im hoping that that have something similar to the inca. if they do i try to get a link up if you are interested

question, how did you remove the factory H emblem on the rear? was it as simple as heating it up and pulling it off? I'd like to test out that cf H emblem on my rear, but if I'm not happy with it, could I go back to the original emblem with no problems?

IncaCivic2001: Thanks. I got the tails from autodynamic.com. Here's the link. .. I paid way too much for them, I think you can find them on ebay for about 100 bucks cheaper . That sounds pretty cool about the headlights..I'm pretty much a big puss when it comes to experimenting like that, but a link would be great if you would grab one for me. If you end up doing that be sure to pm me with some pics

Mex: Thanks, I'll definitely be there (Tysons meet) hope to see ya. I'm gonna be sure to bring my digital camera and take tons of pics. As far as the emblem, to take it off I heated it up with a hair dryer for about 1 to 2 minutes and used fishing line ( or dental floss, can't remember which) to get behind the glue and it came off easily. Most aftermarket emblems come with double sided tape and all you have to do is peel off the protective film and stick em on. The carbon fiber ones that I got were like that, but also had two small prongs that didn't fit with the holes in the trunk. I had to take some pliers and shave them down the best I could, so that it would line up flush and the tape would stick. It might be kind of a pain going back to the stock emblem, only because it doesnt have a background behind the H and theres not much space to work with when you need to put more double sided tape on..you'd probably have to cut the tape into small strips to make it so it doesn't show up on the other side. Hope that helped, if you have any other questions please ask..

Yeah, goldline is a company- and a fairly credible one at that. You can find more info at Goldline's Website and Rob at Tornactive.com has them shipped for $140.
