Accord Coupe vs. Solara opinions
to MSAccord Coupe vs. Solara
The 2003 Accord Coupe looks nice, but it will be probably be selling at close MSRP for most of 2003. What are some of the opinions here about the Toyota Solara? I think that looks nice too and it seems to be close in price and similarly equipped to the Accord. I am beginning to think about toward a Solara as a possible next car at some future point.
Hmm... Solara is hard to find exterior mods... THe only solara i saw worked was the TRD Solara...damn i loved that car the seats were nice...
It is a tough decision between the SOlara and Accord

deff accord for couple of reasons.
1. you can get the 2003 accord with a 6spd and it has 240 horses. the solara only has 198.
2. the accord just got remodeled. honda will prob stick with it for at least 5 years so youll have a new looking car for a while. the solara has had the same look since i can remember. i think it changed but not buy much. so it should be changing pretty soon and you'll have a new car but there will be a model that is newer. did i make sense?
oh, and reasons like "the accord because its a honda" dont count. toyota is eually as good as honda so those reasons are bunk.

I have a neighbor with a silver 2001 Accord V6 (who's ultra sensetive alarm just went off due to a bus' exhaust note) and a silver Camry Solara. I don't like the look of the Solara. After looking at both cars for so long, I just went with the Accord (though it's kinda unfair... that one's modified inside and out). Even if it was stock, I'd still choose the Accord. They're both nice cars but that's just me.
2003 Accord? If that car ranks among the many Acura Type S models (excluding the RSX) in performance then f*kk yeah the 2k3 Accord!
