ground control, skunk 2, or drop zone

Which is the best coilover, are they all comparable, do they all install the same way, if u follow the diy for the ground controls, and inorder to put konis in what do i have to do to install those, what needs to be cut, can i go without the konis, for how long, and if i want around a 2 inch drop what would be the best springs to get if i choose the route, thanks for help it is greatly appreciated...

SUSPENSION FAQ

best coilovers: this is a question with no right answer. its like asking whats the best ice cream? different people will tell you different things. majority of the people will tell you ground controll or skunk2, but just because what majority of the people likes doesnt mean its the best
yes they install the same
cut: lower front perches so that you have more room to adjust the coilover
other questions are answered in the FAQ, if you have others post here

I have an 01 sedan with Skunk2 coilovers and I like them. I had Intrax springs on the car for 2 weeks and hated them. The ground control coilovers had a "cheap" looking sleeve.

if i decide to get coilovers i'm going with true coilovers so i'm not limited to just konis. i personally dont want to hack up my struts either cause i want to be able to put my car back to stock when i sell it. i heard tokicos were supposed to come out late sept, not sure if its true... if it is, you might want to wait.

I have ground controls & havent had a problem with them yet. I probably would have gotten skunk 2's but I got a good deal on the gc's.

Save your money and get true coilovers. And dont think if you get coilovers you wont need shocks cuz you will. i went with gc's bumpiest ride ever. popped 3 shocks in 3 weeks. Got my koni's and theyre nice but the handling isnt that amazing. Id say pay the extra 300 and get Tein or B&G
