since when does 3 litres make a "big" engine?? did i miss something? my dad's avalon has a 3 litre v6...

do the people that think that a 3 litre v6 is a good engine also think that an 8 litre v10 engine that puts out approximately 500 ft/lbs of torque "low-tech" and "crappy"??

im confused on this.

i now what you mean. i use to drive a 3.0 liter V6 bucik century. that was a slow pokey ****.

from an import point of veiw we are only 1.7 liters. applying 3.0 is almost twice the total displacement, which should show double the power to about 230 -240 hp which isn't bad at all when you add the durability and relaibility.

from a domestic point of veiw 3.0 or less would be in an econ vehicle. for an import it has potential for a performance/semiperformance vehicle.
