Pics of Eibach Pro-Kits Settled for 3 weeks
A lot of people say Eibach Pro-Kit does not look "lowered"... but I guess that is totally depending on your taste of lowering. For some people, it's gotta be front lip scrapin' SLAMMED. Not me, I just want to retain the OEM characteristics, with just a hint of sportiness. I had the springs installed roughly a little more than 3 weeks ago. Here's what they look like now, after some settling...

The rear is slightly still higher, which I actually don't mind. I like the back up a little bit... nothing worse than having people sit the back and giving your car that saggy *** look.

Hey O1Coupe, looks nice, and I'm sure you're happy with the sporty look and the still comfortable but much improved ride. I got the Pro-Kits on my sedan installed last week, and I am very satisfied with the result.

Yes, they are Motegi MR-7s... the tire size is 215/45/17.. so before I lowered it, it was actually sitting HIGHER than stock! But bigger tires certainly do fill the wheel wells a lot better

it might fill up the wheel gap more but the car still looks pretty high if you look at the ground clearance. maybe thats why people here think its so low cause of the wheel gap. but ya as long as you like it

That's what the prokit springs do if you ask me, eliminate the well gap. The car doesn't look lowered but just looks better overall w/o actually being able to tell why. It still has somewhat of a 4x4 look to me even though the well gap is at a minimum. Anyhow, glad to hear you are happy.

nice, that seems pretty reasonable for those, and that drop looks awesome...i might have to get some soon
01Coupe: even though your car's only lowered ~1inch, do you have any trouble scraping on anything yet? have you driven any places that have dips and stuff to test it out?

Oh yeah, it's been thoroughly tested out
About 5,000km worth... and so far, zero scrapes. I don't think I ever will.. I'm not that careful either, because a lot of times I am driving half asleep. I even hit a few of the nastiest pot holes that you can image, but nothing happened (thick 215/45/17 tires help).
I don't know if it is my imagination, but the ride quality has seemed to improved since they have settled. I can't confirm on this, cause it could just be me getting used to them. They are still definitely stiffer than stock, but I don't have to cringe when I approach a speed bump too fast.
Oh yeah, I paid $200Canadian for them.. which is like, what.. 5 bucks USD? They were second hand, but only about 3 months used.

Yeah I was thinking of getting those and next 17" wheels and I think that looks great. I want to eliminate the wheel gap but I dont really need it lowered that much, especially if I get a kit for my car.
did u do anything else? I have a Pro-Kit w/19's (215-35-19) and I dont think it looks lowered myself, but everyone else seems to say yes.. but yours looks lowered... it looks good..

people probably think your car looks lowered with 19s because of the very small fender gap. but ya i agree with you, i have fairly big tires, very little fender gap but my car doesnt look lowered at all...

a chick(i dont mean that in an offensive way) with taste, i like that... i would have gotten 19s too but i'm just too damn broke.. but ya i'm thinking about getting a kit to make my car lower...i think with 19s its a must
Perfect drop 01coupe
! Exactly what I wud want on mine... but not too convinced that this is only a 1" drop. With stock tires now there's about 3 1/2' wheel well gap. I was looking @ Eibach Sportline Springs (1.5 - 2.0) to drop my civic ex coupe on same size wheels and tires (215/45/17). The ProKit springs drops only 1-1.25". Now I'm leary about which to get. I don't want my tires tucked._doh;
Yeaa slikor.. got the same car and color as yours. Be putting in the wheels soon as soon as I get the right springs. Yours ain't lowered yet right?
