Question - What size are the screws for the air filter cover?

I am curious if it is a metric size and what it is. I only have non-metric ratchets, and the 5/16 maybe?, well one of them like that 5/16 or 3/8 works but is a little loose, and I'm wondering whether to pick up a good but cheap ratchet tool with even millimeter ratchet sizes like 4 5 6, etc.

Big tip... just go to sears, buy a set of craftsman metric sockets. It will be WELL WORTH the money you spend on them. And they have a lifetime guarantee. I bought a 122 piece mechanic set for $79.99. It's got metric rachets from 5.5 to 19 mm and english sockets for the same approximate measurements. 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch wrenches, deep sockets, some crescent wrenches and a spark plug socket. Well worth it, especially if you' re going to be working on a foreign car.

I took the screws out with a cordless screwdriver. I just kept trying bits until I found the one that fit.

You can't beat Craftsman, maybe I can get the $29.95 set

I actually started with a phillips screwdriver, but the grooves seemed kind of shallow and I wasn't getting a good grip with the screwdriver that I was using, so I went to the ratchet which was much better.
