I know I'm getting cheap, but I heard some decent things on the opti line. Found the opti sl800d for 140, was going to get the jbl 600.1. I read that these amps put out more than they're rated. They're also supposed the be 1 ohm stable which will give me 200 more watts over the jbl. I've finally decided that I'm getting 2 12 elemental designs k series. So now I need to decide on the amp so i can choose either the 4 or 2 ohm subs. Anyone that knows anything of these amps please post info or your experience with them, thanks.

the jbl is 1 ohm stable, just no power gains from 1 to 2 ohms.... i'd go with the jbl... but thats just me... how much money are you gonna pay for the lanzar, because the jbl is on sale for like 205 at www.ikesound.com

the lanzar is 165 shipped. I really don't know much about this, but was looking on sounddomain and people were saying to go with the lanzar opti over the jbl. I always thought they were junk, but 200 more watts for 40 dollars less with just as good an amp sounded good to me. Was also thinking that being able to run a 1 ohm load would be good if I wanted to get a better amp in the future. Still not sure which one, but I want bass soon so I need to decide.

i had a lanzar once, (i would never buy one again.) save your self and get the jbl
