Is it even worth keeping the spare in the trunk now?

since i got my 17" wheels, is it even worth keeping the spare tire in the trunk? I mean if i have a flat somewhere or something i cant use the 15" spare with the other 17" wheels right? I know its a stupid question but i did search and found nothing. thanks

That spare isn't 15". That little tiny tire is going to make your car ride crooked on any size rim you have. As long as the Outer Diameter of the tire on your 17's is close to what it was on 15's, It'll be no worse.

It will suck but it will work. Sometimes it's better than having to wait for a tow truck, but if you are going to keep it, make sure you have a set of stock lug nuts with you. My aftermarket ones didn't fit the spare. Best advice, buy another rim and tire, and find some way to keep it in your trunk. Sorry if this didn't help at all.
