will 18's fit on our cars?
thats right guys,,,,
im wondering what drop is good enough to make 18's look good, i dont want none of this 4x4'in
id like to go Ground control coilovers but i think and believe there a bit rougher than the going with springs?
i do care for my passengers!
also how long will my struts lasts if i just drop the car?
i think that our civic's are way better then the old ones and 18's would make it look sick!
thanks for any help!

yes 18s fit, even 19s fit... the drop depends on the tire size...
i have 215-40-18 tires with neuspeed sport springs(about 1.75" drop)... i have a 1 finger gap all around. doesn't look like its 4x4 but also doesnt look dropped.. you might want to go with a 215-35-18 tire with neuspeed race... i went with 40 series cause of the way i drive and the streets i drive on, give my rims a lil more protection.

also please read the suspension faq located in the suspension forum for your lowering questions such as 'how long will my stock shocks last' if its not there, search and if you cant find it, then post a new thread... if look look through the members ride, you will know that there are quite a few people with 18s.
VNlilMAN,
Do you have any pictures of your car that show your 18's and lowered stance? Reason I ask is because I have just ordered some 18x7" Centerline RPM's (only 14.5 lbs each) and will be running 215/40/18 Yokohama Parada Spec 2's. I'm curious to know what my car will look like when I install the Neuspeed Sport springs that are sitting in my room.
Thanks a bunch,
Terry

naw, sorry i dont.. i only have pics with the neuspeed sports. with my stock LX wheels i had a 1 1/2 finger gap all around and now i have 1 finger gap all around. i only have a small fender gap but the car is sooo high now because the new tires are .6" bigger then the stock LX ones. i think its cause i was used to my car lowered with stock wheels... so my suggestion would be to either get lower lowering springs(maybe neuspeed race) or if you dont want to exchange it then just put on the rims before you put the springs on. oh and make sure you have the right set of neuspeeds too, they now make one for 4 door and 2 door.
A friend of mine is thinking of getting 18s for his 2k1 but he doesnt want to drop his car right now...I know this sounds like kind of a noob question, but I just wanna make sure that there shouldnt be any problems with not lowering except for the 4x4 look. Thanx.
