would these tires fit on this wheel?

the wheel is 16x7. would a 215-40-16 tire fit? would you wheel and tire experts recomend that combo? thanks [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

no it's too small... it would fit on the rim but is smaller than your stock diameter...

for a 16x7 rim, 205/50/16 tires should be fine

Use the really good Tire Calculator on this site (best I've seen on the web), put in the numbers & then decide what's best... match stock size as close as possible to keep speedometer accurate (such as 215/45/17 (which is the closest tire match for a 17 inch rim size)) OR get something smaller so you can make believe you are actually going faster than you are (like 205/40/17).
