GC's in Michigan

Well if you havent been here Michigan is king of snow & salted roads. Well Sand & salt mixed together. Does anybody know if i can run Ground-Controls in the winter with no prob.'s ( rust, freezing together, any thing like that ) also with Koni Yellows.

I dont live in Michigan anymore, but i will when i leave the service in 2 more years, but,.... in Michigan, youd be dumb to leave your Koni's on during the winter put your stock tires back on, and if your gonna drop your car get the fully adjustable struts and shocks, they are expensive, but worth it, that way you can adjust your cars height. I got my neon and previous cars stuck all the damn time, did nothing but **** me off, and they had all stock wheels and suspension. spend the extra money, do it right, youll thank yourself later. and dont let the salt they dump on the road eat your nice rims, take em off. (i have yet to drive my civic in michigan winters, so i dont know how it would handle, i wouldnt expect well.)

Just my opinion

Konis will be fine. Your coilovers on the other hand..

Might as well sell them on Ebay and invest in Springs. Salt from the roads will get up inside the coilovers, and eventually you wont be able to adjust the coilovers. So after winter, whatever your car is set at, thats where its gonna stay....BAD IDEA for michiganders.

Im a Honda Guy, Im just tryna help...

Cheers

I lived in Minnesota and winter sucks. Yeah I had Gc's last year during winter and sand and salt got everywhere. My threads rusted together with the adjusting perch and plus my adjusting screw stripped! I had only adjusted them twice! They suck in winter. Take my advise- get springs.
