i'm not sure if you guys have been following up on this but 'htowncivicEX' has been doing a k20a swap. he has shown a great deal of dedication to his car. from what i remember, he's from houston, texas... he called alot of places and finally found a place that would attempt it. the only place being a shop in san jose... he had to fly back and forth, ship the engine he bought from ebay there and then finally ship his car there...(sorry if some of the info is wrong, this is what i remember from like 2 months ago). but ya anyways he said he'll be willing to have a little meet on friday night here in LA to give a chance for us angelinos to look at what every 7thgen owner wishes they had. i'm not exactly sure exactly the place and time and will try to get that for you asap. i have PMed him and will try to pick a place and time at his convinience. if you want to follow up, read this postk20a swap part 3 it has links to part 1 and 2 so follow those for more info.

Someone please set up a date and time and post directions by late Thursday afternoon. I have a night class all Thursday night until 10 pm, then a friend is taking me directly to the airport, where I will catch a few hours sleep before my 6:45 am flight the next morning. So I won't be able to access this board after, say, 4:30 pm Central Standard Time on Thursday.

If you guys still haven't set anything up by then, I'll just leave my cell # so someone can call me with the relevant info.

ok... i guess we have a unianimous vote against me... I just talked to Aaron a.k.a. htowncivic on his cell phone right now and i told him that it will be at the Ikea Friday aug 2 at 6.p.m. He will only stick around like 1 hour or so because he has to drive it back to Houston... thats a 22 hour drive and he has too be back at Houston by 12 noon Sunday....

SO THE MEET IS SET, IKEA IN CITY OF INDUSTRY AT 6PM FRI AUG 2 ... BE THERE!!!
