Man, I don't know. But, why would the redline be different in the Ex than the Lx? I know the Ex is V-TEC and all, but would this increase the redline even tho the engine is basically the same? Or does the increased compression in the Ex result in a higher redline?

i dunno, i was asking about switching tin indiglo gauges and someone said that it should work using the ex gauges but the redline would be off...i asked like 4 people at the civic meet last weekend
they all said that
lx 6.5
ex 6.7
they all said that
lx 6.5
ex 6.7
are you asking this just for the sole purpose of the indiglo gauges? bc if so my main question is, are you really that concerned about the redline being off .2 or less? i dont know about most people, but i go by the engine, not the tach as to when to shift anyways, i wouldnt even care if there wasnt a tach, i mean its nice to have dont get me wrong, but i dont know if i would be so concerned about such a small difference in your decision to purchase or not purchase the gauges. so i guess my bottom line here is, buy the gauges, it'll look nicer, and no one is going to question you as to why your redline is wrong (if it is in fact wrong, never payed much attention to that detail)

We (the coupes) have a higher redline than the sedans. Also the sedans have those plain black gauges while the coupes have the better looking one.[hr]

Just curious, what would the DX redline be. There is no tach on the DX but would it also be at 6750?[hr]
