Drive-thru Car wash

Another stupid question. Anyone with a lowered car have problems going through car washes? I'm on Sportline, i.e., 1.5~2 drop.

Haha, the problem is my work parking lot is right beside a new construction site... You can imagine my car with a film of dust on it.

I've arranged to park elsewhere, but there so much dust and grime on my car, I wanna do a touchfree wash to clean out the **** until I can wash it this weekend.

I agree.... I never go to the car wash alone. Preferably with another car and I don't like going through the drive through car wash. Except for the touchless and I have to be extra busy that day to have no time to do it myself.

i've been using the simoniz ones (i'm pretty sure that's what it is..i'll let ya know for sure next time i go down to the car) from Crappy tire and haven't had a problem with "fluff" or streaks..
i think i paid like $15 for it..
it's not one of the "traditional" chamois, but some new absorbant material..
yer welcome to try it out, and i've got a spare one jic..

I can't go through drive through washes because of my hood deflector and sunroof visor. They rattle like a b!tch when I go through the dryer. Plus drive through washes don't clean that well anyways.

dunno yet
i'll just take it to the do it yerself, hose the daylites out of it and dry it down..
and be real sure to do the bottom and wheel wells really well...

if ya have a look at your owners manual it shows you all the places where shyt can accumulate..those are the spots you really blast away at..

hmmmmm...i know there are "environment friendly" soaps out there..like shampoos and the like..
but i think their biggest concerns are the oil etc. that washes away with the water..

wonder if they'll offer some kind of subsidy (tax break)..
or they'll enforce stricter controls on the "DIY" carwashes..

all i know is i'm NOT gonna spend $6 at a DIY every 3 days to wash my car..
and i'm NOT going to NOT wash my car..i have a right to protect my investment, and washing it does that..
