Hi all in CANEast
30 posts later I realized my fellow canucks are here. Just a quick poll, where y'all located? I'm in TO.
Just did a Sportline drop on my car, as some of you may have read around the forums. 'D be cool to get to know fellow 7thgen owners in Canada and get a lo-down on where to and where best to get things here. TO is loaded with aftermarket assessories, but when it comes to getting the right parts from the US, I found it rather difficult.

Welcome to CanEast... I think most of us here are from the GTA, some further out west like K/W and Niagara and some out near Ottawa and Montreal, although I haven't heard much from those guys lately...

So anyone here dropped the car with sport springs? Just want to get an idea of what I should expect this winter... Not counting the weird winter we had last year (Vancouver was colder).

I also wonder if it's a good time to say F##k it and put Koni's on. Although I'd like to wait until the other manufacturers come out with alternatives... As I've heard mixed comments on the Koni's.
BTW guys, I did get Eibachs... Was gonna get Pro-kit just to get rid of the monster truckie look, but then decided to do Sportline to get the extra little drop (which turned out to be a lot of drop IMO). Now I'm just a bit concerned that my plan for new shocks and rims at the same time next spring may have to happen sooner by a few months!

Haha, it seems that people are mistaking my username... I'm in no way those TaLk LiKE ThIs kind of people... Just happened to have that thought the day I joined the forum and that's a programming naming convention (us poor CS suckers, years of education brainwashing us to think that numbers count from 0 and not 1, etc.).... If my old car didn't get stolen last year I'd have waited to get the RSX in August!
I have the neuspeed sports, been riding on them for about 6-7 months. Yes I first had small popping, and creaking sounds when the springs were installed. It only happened when I was turning the steering wheel lock to lock when pulling in/out of a parking spot. The reason for this is because the springs rotate on the strut cups and have a little bit of friction. Nothing a little lithium grease can't help I heard you can get rubber boots to go over the springs to silence them even more. Anyone know what this is exactly?
btw - welcome to the can east board WishIWaitedForRSX

I went to Hi Tech Auto. At Brimley and Sheppard. The Action Honda service guy actually recommended it, and I remember a friend of mine used to go there before I got into cars... Service is ok, prices are ok on some stuff, although some of their prices are high compared to US prices, coz they build in install prices and duty/taxes/etc.
