I saw this done to mx6 can this be done to our cars????

IAT stands for intake air temp sensor. absolutly no reason for dissconecting it. no horsepower gains just a check engine light.

You dont just disconnect it buddy.............Click the link it shows you what it is and how to install it on a mx6........it doesnt look that hard to install and it says it gives a big boost around 4k rpms

Well, guys I see the point here. This sensor is the one that tells the computer the temperature of the air ingested by the engine. Depending how hot or cold the air in the intake is, (density), is how the air/fuel mixture will be. Colder air=more gas, hotter air=less gas. I don't know how it'll work on our cars but, definitly, it has to do with the mixture.
