Thanks for the pics. I have a quick question, will the si rims with the original si tires make the stock height wheel gap look even more noticable? Thanks for the help

If you have 15s on stock springs, the gap will still be pretty big. There's a difference but it's VERY small. (If you drive a 4-door however, then it's more noticable that there is less of a gap.) It depends on the stock Si's tire size. If they are 195-60-15 like on my car, then you get slightly less gap. Your best bet to lessen the gap is to just lower the car with springs or coilovers.

Hey soniccivic, Thanks for your help. I'm picking up an ex coupe this week, so i'll probably stay away from the SI rims. I don't need the wheel gap any bigger than it already is. Also, durkinz, I'm sure everyone on this board is glad you think SI rims are worthless. Keep up with your very helpful posts big fella. Later

if you use the si rim with the stock tire size how can the wheel gap be any larger than with stock steelies?

What a waste,
those si wheels only look good on 92-95 civics, besides the 96'-00.....
those do not look good at all on 01-02 civics
the 01-02 civics are much too big of a car to fit 15;s on it...
it really needs 17 or 18's

I kind of like the simple, clean look of them...too bad Honda doesn't make them in larger sizes, like 16". Or do they?

I was just looking at the 15" 7-spoke Si rims on handaaccessories.com, and they show a "shipping weight" of 25 lbs each...is that really how heavy those rims are, or is the actual weight less?

i emailed HandA a while ago and asked them how much they weigh....the guy to replied to my email said 21lbs. w/o any packaging....pretty damn heavy for a 15" has anyone that owns them weighed them?...21lbs seems too heavy to me.

That's what I thought, too...I believe I can get 16" wheels that weigh the same or less. I was considering them because I thought, from what I've read in the posts, the fit would be tighter (no need for spacers).

I don't go for the older style SI rims. I really like the look of the 2002 SI rims on our cars. I would like them to be a bit bigger though.

Oh well, can't have everything.

Personally, I don't care too much for the new SI rims. They are kind of boring looking.
