Those inspections can get pretty expensive.
There is not much to do other than change the oil every 5,000 miles. At 15,000 the air filter gets replaced and at 30,000 the air conditioner filter gets replaced. I stopped going to the dealer. They wanted $80 or so for the 20,000 mile service!!! 80 bucks to change the oil and inspect a few things... sheeeesh.. oh and rotate tires.
If you know about basic maintainance you can do most of the inspections yourself. You know when the brakes need to be done because it will make a squeal, you know to replace the belts and hoses when they crack.
The rest of the big stuff is spelled out for you, like when to replace brake fluid and coolant. No tuneups or anything until 110,000 miles... then you do spark plugs and timing belt. You can just take it anywhere and tell them what to do.
I'd say read a little about auto maintainance and save your money on the 10k services. BTW, you can rotate your own tires at home. Just use the spare to support the car while you move the tires and follow the pattern. When you replace your tires, buy them from somewhere that gives you free lifetime rotation and balancing.
