I've heard some bad things about the EBC's. AEM/Nissin brake pads are the best as far as I know. They don't cost that much either. About $50 from Options Auto Salon.

Not through hearsay either, but through the net. I searched for reviews of the EBC Green Stuff brake pads and found out that they don't wear well and they may damage rotors because of their extremely high cooefficient of friction. That and the brake dust from these pads is hard to remove.

Check it out: EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads Reviews
Here's another nasty set of reviews: EBC Brake Pads

Now, try searching for reviews of the AEM/Nissin pads and you will find nothing but praise.

Anyone know of somewhere else I could get the pads from... I was going to buy the pads from options auto but I live in Puerto Rico and they only ship 2nd day to Puerto Rico. It would cost me $27 of shipping just for the pads.

I have the AEM ones and silver rims... the brake dust is hardly noticable for weeks on it... by the time the car is filthy you'll start to notice the brake dust on the rims... I really like these but have never tried the greenstuff ones. I faced this choice a long time ago and I chose teh AEM ones... i'm really happy i did.
