ROLL CALL LIST: Who's up for a 909/626 Meet?
Just lemme know who's up for it, from what i read AK is up for it so its me and him so far. If its a GO then i'll set up a time and place and we can either do it in the afternoon(bbq=just chill take pics etc..) or at night(go to a cafe, chill, take pics in the underground parking, lots of parking, get some buy 1 get 1 free drinks at Life Plaza, and bounce out). lemme know guys, i've been to S2000, prelude, even nissan meets and they came out in strong numbers but i havent seen squat from us 7thgens...last prelude meet 2 weeks ago came out 42 preludes...37 97-01 preludes and had a meet in the city of industry. Hope we can get something like this going. If anyone can help me set up this meet then any help is welcome. Thanks. Late.

i think it would be better if you actually set the time/place/date before you ask around tho, this way you have a less chance of people flaking...

Rep Power: 332 well i'm just saying for now...would people ACTUALLY show up? theres been a LOT of flaking in the past so i just want to know who would be up for a meet if the date and place and everything is right...if i can get some people interested then i'll bust out a poll on what date would be best for people. - I work Sunday-Thursday Night Shift. So anything from Monday-Thursdays I cannot go.
- Hot Import Nights is on the 13th of July, so any meet would have to be before the starting time.
- I go to Hawaii on July 31 - August 7. So Obviously I won't be attending doing those days.
- I have late night party commitments on Saturdays July 6th and July 20th. Any meet for me would be doing day time of those days.
Well, thats it, I'm down, just somebody let me know when its set. Take into consideration the driving distance from other members as well.

Suggestion: how about speedzone off the 60 on a friday or saturday night? There's parking, and since u mentioned Life Plaza...it's pretty close by.

Thanks for replying guys and not just sitting there and reading the post with no feedback. I've read the feedback and here's the deal...MOST LIKELY the meet will be late july 20? 27th? or something...figure it out later but it will NOT be the 13th...cause i'm going to HIN [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] So i wanna just chill and stuff there with my friends.
But from what i've read and from my previous experiences with MEETs...(prelude friend sets up PreludeOnline.com Meets and 42 showed up last time!! wow!) a Friday is never a great day...SATURDAYs seem to be the least busiest and some people are tired as heck after work and stuff.
The meet will be on a Saturday late afternoon to till its dark(if anyone wants to bust out a light show or some night time cruising?!?!). I'm not that much of a DAY person and we can pick a place to eat. Most likely the MEET will be in the City of Industry or the surrounding areas.
I'm not gonna set up a "SPEEDZONE" cruise cause i'm planning on making this a SEMi-BIG meet and some people dont wanna dish out the money.
Likewise with food, maybe half can head over to inn-n-out and the other half can roll with me and some other peeps to a restaurant(5$-7$ per plate of thai food or any other suggestions?). I just want this to be a chill meet, check out cars, and stuff. Has there been any Big SPEEDZONE meets? anyways thats my input on this. I'm just gonna update the list by page so just tell me if you're up for it or not. And if anyone has the time to help me set up the meet then PM me and help out if you can. k late.

Rep Power: 0 i can go on dates A B C D and as long as it isnt like 2 hours from the 714 area code ill go...my racing harts should be in by then but ill be riding like a sport ute cuz no money for lowering by that time [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] .... cmon guys lets join in on the meet my friend went to a benz meet and the turnout was AMAZING....not the quality of cars but the number of dedicated members to the site...if those benzies can do it we can sure as heck try
i said earlier that a, b, or c will be fine. and im still fine w/ either of those dates. but let's lean it more towards b or c. that way it gives me the time to get my kit on for sure before the meet happens. my kit comes in either this fri or sat and im gonna get it installed and painted hopefully on mon. so yeah. b or c would actually be better for me.

Right now i'm leaning towards some Thai food right now at The BOAT(city of industry?/Rowland heights? real close to where we'll be) ...real good food(ranging from fried rice to noodles and other stuff). The prices aren't too bad, its about total 6-7$ per meal. If some people wanna go there then i can make reservations so theres a place for us cause its gonna be a saturday nite= pretty busy. On the other side its gonna be about 5$ for combo meal at a fast food place. IF anyone has any suggestions just post it up and maybe half of us can go to one place and half go to another but i wanna try to get everyone together.
