Road Hazard Protection Plan

I have talked to Discount Tire and a few other major tire/rim outlets, and NONE of the responses that I received would indicate that the road hazard protection plans would cover rims. Tires are covered, but bent up rims due to potholes, or whatever are not covered.

I have noticed in a few posts that some people are claiming that these protection plans DO cover the rims.

Discount covers tire not rims UNLESS you can buy some plan from them when you buy the rims. As far as I know though no one covers rims due to normal road conditions such as pot holes.

Nope, I don't know of anyone that covers the rims. So thats another reason I am sticking to 17" 215/45 more cushion but still could bend the rim as they say. But I would like to find someone also that could cover my rims.
