Dirty, before I tell you or anyone else tells you to search, because this topic has been discussed before. I do have some new info on the topic. Last night while watching Hi Rev Tuners I saw an interview with a rep from Arospeed. They have some new wheels size 19x7 that will fit a Civic without rubbing and will take the 215 and 225 series tires. These will definately fit without rubbing. As for other suggestions... the 35 series tires don't provide much protection for the rims. I suggest you buy your tires from a national chain (i.e. discount tire, mr. tire, ntb) these places can offer you a road hazard protection plan. Sorry for the long reply.

i would recommend 19's for show only. on wheelmax's website they have a pic of a 7th gen with 19 inch axis sevens. They fill up the entire wheel well. You won't be able to lower if you get 19's either with out it rubbing. Save yourself some money bro and get 17's or 18's.

If you read the fine print, the road hazard protection plan replaces TIRES not rims.

i have 18's with 215/35/18 and i have hit some bad bumps and no bent rims yet. however my 18's are to small to me and im looking for some 19's with 215/35/19

unless people roll on 19s themselves, they'll know how it is.. i got 19x8 lowered with eibach sportline springs and been rollin for a year and a half now. sure i got scrapes on the edges of the rims, but my foot can touch the rim standing next to it, so thats bound to happen. i had 18s before and they're just as risky. the only negative thing i got to say about 19s is that you can feel the imperfections of the road more than 18s, but i kinda got used to it.

19's are huge, but if you want the "show" look you'll definitely get it with 19's, but it'll prob slow the car down a tad cause the weight is higher than stock

Just a personal opinion here, I don't like the 19 look. There's a 6th gen civic in my apartment parking lot with 19's, and the car looks raised, like a truck.

19" like wow thats big I wouldn't go with them personally, I was thinking 18" for awhile but looking at prices they are more then I want to pay. Plus I want a good ride close to stock so 17" with 215/45 is what I am getting but my car is a daily driver. For show cars I saw go for whatever you want. But yeah 17-18 is what I would go for a little more cushion and save some money in the long run

19's would look straight up dope. But they would ride like crap. For a show they would be fine but not for daily driving (considering the price why would you use them daily anyway, theys pricey). I have 17's and already bent a wheel. But I must be a glutton for punishment, I am going to get some 18's next week.

I would never put 18s or 19s on my ride personally. First, you have a rubber band for a tire. It's going to ride terribly, and if you lower the car, you mays well be driving a roller skate. Second, it's only a matter a time before a rim gets bent. Third, you are loosing massive acceleration performance. Maybe on a show car, but for a daily driver, I think it is absolutely ludicrous to put 18" or 19" rims on a civic no less.

if you got the green, get 19's otherwise.. go 17 or 18... i got 18's and wish i had 19's for real,,,, i just like when they look huge and they do,,,, but everyone has 18's and some have 17's , 19's around here would just be nice looking and different....... wanna buy some 18's anyone????

Get 19s with a 225-40 series tire. You will not be able to drop much but it will protect your rims more than a 225-35 series tire.

These tires should protect your 19s and would fit on our civics. I don't know if you can drop that much but they should keep your 19s from cracking or bending. click here

Hey, is there really a difference between 40/18s and 35/19s ??
I just up-sized from a 215/45/17 to a 215/40/18 and didn't notice a difference at all.
I figure from a 40/18 to a 35/19, there probably wouldn't be much difference either-
except for maybe a little rim protection. Has anybody had experience with both these tire sizes?
With my 215/40/18 and a pro-kit drop, i still seem to have room so would 225/35/19 fit without
rubbing. It seems hard to get a straight answer when it comes to 19".

How was the gap with the Pro-Kit & 215/40/18's? Also, did the rear sag in relation to the front? I heard Eibachs have that problem sometimes but I think it is only when installed on the sedan. And of course, got any pics?

35-19 is a smaller tire than 40-18. I have the 40-18 and my friend has 225-35-19 and he is tires are a lot smaller than mine.
