Honda Sport Suspension Package PICS
Here are the pics I took of the Civic equipped with the "Factory Performance" suspension package. You can see the rims, interior, and exterior. It added $4500 to the sicker price.

uh.. all i can say is I like the wheels. if I'm not mistaken, that's the OEM kit, which runs $700. that trim runs no more than $100, and springs no more than $200. where does the other $3500 come in? the painted headlights and wheels?
edit: oh yeah, and good job! this sure does clear up a lot of speculation on the sport package

First of all the headlights are stock. Second - the honda tech I talked to said you can NOT purchase ANY parts, including wheels, seperately. Everything has to be purchased as a package installed on a new 2002 Civic EX. The total price was just barely over $20K. Maybe it's just me, but I need a LOT more that 127 hp to spend $20K on a Civic.
well, you can just DIY the headlights and the interior, buy the OEM kit, eibach pros, and get a set of good aftermarket wheels and you'll have your own sport package for about half the price

the rims looks pretty good... drop is noticeable.
we already covered whats in the package. stiffer, lower springs, shocks, tires and rims.
yes, its not worth 4,500.
I wonder how it handles though.

I think the y can charge those ungodly rates because they {HONDA} knows that when you buy a car you usually finance the thing! And whatever extra money you usually have goes towards a down payment, so then your too broke to buy anything after you get the car! So then at the inital sale you just say " since i am gonna be paying on this car for 5 years , i mine as well get all the options"! So if you figure you throw the 4500$ onto your original cost of a base civic and finance charges , your probably looking at 6000$! pretty crazy! But very smart! Dakota
dang those rims are sic!!!
love it hahahaa
well i would never pay that much for a suspension package.
rather get some GC's and koni shocks and still have money for lunch after the guys in the shop install it!

That is so not worth $4500.
I like the rims, I would buy those but not for what Honda would want for them.
other than that the rest would look better with aftermarket or DIY.

hmmm...for what i payed for my '02 ex coupe + $4500 extra for a sports package, i could have gotten a base acura rsx...which probably handles just a well and much faster. don't get me wrong, i would really like this kit, but there NO WAY in hell i'd shell out $4500 for it! jeeze, what a rip!

my boss told me that an oem spoiler came with the kit as well. also, I didn't know it came with a dash kit. that might be an extra that the dealer added onto the sticker. like I said before, it will not be offered on H and A because the kit has to be installed by the dealer at the time of purchase. although, if you live in northern cali, you might be able to order it through the website and pick it up at will call and have us install it for you. I'll ask the guys on monday if they'll be extending the h and a discount. our cost is $2430 and we usually do a 20% markup for the website which would bring the total to just over $2900 plus tax and install. that's not as bad as 4500 plus tax and install.

If it includes the body kit and spoiler and actual good tires..$4500 is steep but not too far fetched...if it's just the suspension, wheels minor interior subtleties and a spoiler..that's highway robbery
What's a good kit to get that amount of suspension drop without having to sell your first born. I"m looking for a suspension kit that won't slam my car to the ground. Anyone give me some leads. Possibly kits that you have on your vehicles and pictures to go along with it.
^ you can probably just look through member's rides and when you see something you like, look under the suspension category to see what products they have.
it sounds like you're interested in something like an eibach pro kit.
