Where to get info on Arospeed wheels?
Hey guys,
I've emailed Arospeed 3 times, but looks like they are not too interested in selling their wheels
Anyone know where I can buy them in the NW US or Canada? Also, how much do the RS23 weigh in the 17"?
I really like the wheels, but their total lack of service is amazing.
I was looking at them and the VX-8 but the VX weight over 20 lbs. That's my weight cutoff. My short list still includes Konig Absolutes, but I don't like the 'fake' nuts and the color is a bit dark...
Oh well, we'll see.

OK, get this, I get NO reply to my emails from Arospeed, so I call them up. The 17x7 'lightweight' wheels weigh 22 lbs. 22lbs?!? Why do these guys advertise them as 'lightweight' racing wheels when they weigh 22lbs. What a JOKE!!
So far I've found the following wheels I liked that are over 20 LBS:
Tenzo R Mean 6 - 21.7
Velox VX-8 - 22
Arospeed RS23 - 22
These are all nice wheels, but way too heavy.
Anyhows, I'll be Buying Konig Absolutes from Whalen Tire. They are 18.88 lbs for the 17x7 and I can drive to Montana and have em installed I think 19 lbs is a much more 'reasonable' weight. Yea, I know people will say 3 pounds doesn't make a diff, but it's the principle. You gotta draw the line somewhere and mine's at 20 lbs.
Konig Absolutes
What do you guys think of em?
