even if they are illegal, its only because of the BLUE angel eye...
so if you put a white one, or a hyper white one...it wont be illegal

I think the Chrome ones would look better on your silver car.. they blend in better.....

It's like gettin chrome altezzas on a black car.... they stand out a lot.... but the smoked ones don't.........

But in the end it's your car......... my opinion... go for chrome

Those lights are not legal for two reasons: The "angel eye" is blue and there are no built-in reflectors on them.

BMW's version is legal because it is yellow/amber and is original equipment. IMO they look better too, since each headlight has 2 angel eyes.

If our cars had separate bumper reflectors and the angel eye could be made to shine amber or yellow, then there would be no problem.

I'd love to buy a pair of those but the cops in MA can be such hard @$$e$ - they'll ticket you for the stupidist stuff. In addition, MA emissions are too hard to pass w/ certain crap on your car. I can't do anything here!

Who cares if they are illegal!
like really c ' mon guys, maybe in ur area cops r like that, but that a little tight because like if u put a reg. bulb or even a hyper white bulb then u should be fine, i am yet to meet a cop who looks at my headlights and says i dont see a reflecter...
that means our cleared DIY headlights (stock ones) are illegal, because we are taking out the orange reflecter..
go 4 them if u got the $$$$$$$

as far as legality, in california, for your car to be street legal, all your colors VISIBLE to teh front have to be white or amber. clearcorners are legal, but any blue light is not.

illegal in california. =/
