Not sure...but around 40 miles /h.....! I didn't see the hole in the street....It was just a normal hole....! On my tantrums I have installed Yokohama Avid H4 205/40/17 inflated with 30 lbs of air.......is it enough?? I Think that it is enough...but how much pressure do we have to put on these? Some say 40 some 30 some 25..........GRRRRRR !!!
I'M planning to put some yokohame 215/45/17
Grrr Quebec roads SUX!!!

hmmm 30 sounds kinda low, I have 205/45/17, Kumho 712's and the max PSI for those are 44 psi. I keep it at around 40. I don't know the max for yours, but I think the 40 profile in your tire size and the 30 psi pressure combined to damage the rim. I would inflate the tire more, but be sure you don't go past the max inflation pressure, its listed on your tire on the sidewall. Like your rims though, look good.

I have 205/40/17's. My rear passenger side rim in the unside is a little bent. Not as bad as yours however. But since no one can see it from the outside, Im not going to bother replacing it.

I know someone who can rebuild my rim, and It is much cheaper then replace the wheel, and it won't appear, I'm looking to take my wheel to this shop and I'll see the result!
Today I've put some air in my tires =)
40 Psi now and looking for the road hazard =))) Keep smiling!!!
And to answer to the one who want to know, my paint is a custom paint job! 10 coats of paint! Prismatic Green! It cost me some $$$ but It worth it !

I have the same wheels, except on 215/45s. I always keep mine AT LEAST 40 psi. Never had any problems, and face some pretty bad roads daily. Except the stupid "Tantrum by Konig" label thing fell off one of my wheels....damn thing!
Sorry to hear about your bad luck. My 18's were only 1 week old when my wife calls me and says "I think i scraped the curb." As for air pressure I have 215/40/18's Dunlop 9000's and I run 51psi....I can't believe you guys are oinly running 30psi in a 205/17" tire? Thats crazy!!!
