I'm looking at 17 inchs rims weighing 20lbs a peice... is that too much?

Also, what is the ideal weight for a 17 inch rim?

20lbs is about average, 25lbs is too much and 12lbs is about the lightest I have seen, but anything 20lbs and under is good....

The lighter you can get (afford) is best. Rotational mass savings will help your car go faster than any other weight loss, and is much easier on your suspension components. There aren't a lot of wheels under 12 lbs, and the ones that exist are expensive. So balance the money you want to spend with the weight you want to have.

My rh evo s7's are like 17 ibs i beleive and u can feel a big diff in driving with a lighter set up from stock
