Intake decision, whats good??

I've got some money saved up, and am in the market for an intake. I prefer a cold air intake. I was originally thinkin AEM CAI. But I see other generic brands going for a lot cheaper. Any major differences between these cheaper intakes and more pricier intakes? Cuz, I'm thinkin just get the generic piping and slap on a K&N filter. Any suggestions??

Finish quality is a major difference, plus AEM and Injen fit without any mods. I've seen cheaper intakes that don't fit perfectly, requiring some modding. I'd say go for the Injen CAI, check the top banner in this site. Excellent price.

Just get an Injen or AEM. Why would you want to replace OEM parts with crap on your new car? Think about it.

go with AEM or Injen on this once, they are the only respectable companies that make intakes for our cars.

Yup, to rehash.

Go with only AEM or Injen. I have an Injen because AEM doesn't have a Cold Air for an Auto.

The sound is pretty cool, especially when turning the car off. The preformance is minimal but still you can feel a little, and with our cars a little is alot.

Both the AEM & INJEN or both good products! I have the AEM CAI and I love it. One thing to keep in mind: You often get what you pay for! But, whatever you think, It's just my two cents!
