So Cali Meet at Irwindale Speedway Sunday June 16? RACE YOUR CAR
Prodigy broght it to my attention that we can hold a good meet at Irwindale Speedway any sunday coming up, but it seems only SUNDAY JUNE 16 is the street legal drags and test and tune time trials (you can clock your 1/4 mile time)... only $20 to RACE YOUR CAR all day from 8a.m. to 5p.m., but of course your car has to meet safety regulations check click here for Who can race? and Click here for rules

parking is free so we can chill in the parking lot, or for those few who want to race their cars can race them for $20... to watch is only $10...
remember any street legal car is welcome to race so you can bring friends and their cars not just 7th gen civics!!!!

EDIT: I only got what i could off the website and i made this message in 10 minutes... it was a spur of the moment thing... so yea some things on this initial post is wrong... it is 1/8 mile, and $10 per head in your car when you enter the parking lot...

SUP Andrew! I got the e mail out to everyone in the Greater LA soo hopefully it'll set things off. . I'm going to try to promote this in other fourms and hopefully the Mod's won't get mad. Thanks for helping me out and hopefully it'll turn out great and you can come. . after a number of responses will set a hardcore date for it. . And one other idea is we can invite other cars like RSX's or any other import to show off and meet up and have fun

Rep Power: 0 okay, i read this thread and i think half of the info is wrong. first of all its 1/8 of a mile. and second, its free parking but you pay to get in the parking lot. its 10 bucks per head. you either watch or race. one or the other. i live by there and i go once in awhile. it is koo and there is alot of space for a meet. but i dont know if you all want to pay 10 bucks just for a meet. you can easily hide in the trunk, they dont bother to check. (done it b4). but be prepared to be stomped by the domestics. they have some crazy cars there. some that hit 120 mph on a 1/8. our cars can only rich 60 if we're lucky. people literally laugh at you when you run. cause most likely you will be running crappy times compared to the domestics that attend irwindale on a weekly bases. so i dont know if itll be such a great place to meet. if anyone has different info than i do, please feel free to correct me. i just dont want people driving an hour or so to find out they have to pay and also feeling tiny compared to the domestics, cause they CAN do some damage.

I didn't see a question in there on saying "Does anyone want to go and get laughed at?" I know your intentins are good, but please. .either your with our idea or your not. Again, for those that think they can make it to a South Cali meet sometimes later this month, plz let me know. . i posted an e mail before at Xinfam0us0neX@aol.com The plan is this : Have a SO Cal (A good one this tiem) meet sometimes later this Month of June. Location : The location of choice is at Irwindale Speedway. We can meet there and pay the 10 bucks or 20 if you want. Either or, we can meet there or meet somewhere close to there, show off the cars and chat. After awhile, we can grab a bite to eat to the closest dine in place if not, for the people who want to race or do time trials, we can move to Irwindale. AGAIN, this is just a plan in the making, i need people who live in South Cali to come through to make this a good one BEFORE the BIG BIG meet.

Rep Power: 0 They are having an event this friday where all imports street legal are racing. I am not sure about prizes or anything like that but it is backed by DUB. I was going to hit it up on Friday cause my friend is running his GSR. I'll try to make it on sunday. My car is in the shop getting a phat sound system put in. I'll let ya all know asap for sure soon.
well the plan is still in the making. . People have to E MAIL me and i'll let them know the final date. . CivicHX01 and I are still planning it out to make a specific date for everyone to go. . .soo E mail me. .xinfam0us0nex@aol.com plz!
