Those bulbs are probably the first aftermarket type bulbs to be sold, even before the super, hiper whites. They are very very bright with a green color to them. Just remember that if a cop sees it, your toast.

I had the higher wattage bulbs in my last civic they worked just noticed a little less mileage, but as for cops I dunno guess it would depend. But my friends have had the rainbow covers and have got away with them for awhile now.

Well, i guess what he means by less mileage is that they don't last that long. Yes, your wires should be able to handle it. As for the color, check with your local laws. I live in San Francisco, Cali and they don't allow any colors like green, purple.... etc. Yes, super whites and hyper whites are cool cuz they don't really emit any other color just whiter, depends on brand, some show more blue than others.

Are you talking about bulbs that are like the PIAAs and Hiper bulbs, but with just a green tint? Because those are also xenon gas filled but usually with a blue or purple tint. If so, then the wattage isn't as high as you think. Those bulbs usually say they have the appearance of 100/90 watt bulbs, but use alot less wattage. If that's not the kind of bulbs your talking about...then excuse my reply.
