Need help choosing a transmission
Hello, I have 1990 Honda Civic DX sedan. I want to turn this car into a comfortable daily driver/cruiser. I notice while driving at speeds around 70mph, there is quite a bit of engine vibration, which is normal for such an engine. Is there a transmission or engine/transmission setup where I could get lower rpms at highway speeds? Are there transmissions I can use from the next gens, or will that not be possible because of cable/hydraulic compatibility problems? I'm not looking for performance, just comfort. Any recommendations or ideas?
