What Kind Of Motor?

Hi guys! I have a 2003 Honda Civic LX 1.7 SOHC. I am trying to find out what kind of K20 motor that would drop in my vehicle, and what is the best wire harness I can use? Also, do I need to change the axles or I can use my stock one? Thanks.

This was a fun topic 10 years ago..

Probably take you 2days to binge watch all the You Tubbers that miracously pull it off in a week.

I really like the one where the guy cut out the actual mounts from a RSX and welded them into his Civic.

Nowadays look8mg for a RSX might be a cheaper option.

You mean just get an RSX or RSX motor? K20A2 or A3? But if getting another car which is RSX, IDK. I'm the sleeper type. LOL!!

k20a or k24 motor swap?

I'm still confuse of what kind of k motor to swap for my 2003 Civic LX. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Either one really. K20a2 revs higher, K24 will give more low end torque.
