2005 Honda civic lx transmission going out. Can i replace it with a z6 or zc tranny?
Ive been looking for transmissions for my 2005 honda civic lx. I want to know what it can be exchanged with? What other types of trannys will work in it??

Any d17 trans will work. If you use the one from the d17a2 (US ex/ CDN si) you'll get shorter more "sporty" gearing. I did that in my gold 05
