EM2 Trashed Auto to Manual Tranny costs?
So today, I went an visited my old '02 EM2. It's been sitting in my brother's yard for last 3 years with a busted tranny. She looks pretty good, considering she's out in the sun, exposed to the elements. When I sat inside (first time in probably a year) I couldn't help but feel how much I miss driving that car! As I've said already, she needs a tranny swap. Also new battery, tires, a little body work...the usual resurrecting a sitting vehicle stuff.
I'm just wondering from other user's experiences, what it might cost to have an EM2 switched from auto to manual transmission?

Re: EM2 Trashed Auto to Manual Tranny costs?
My guess is that you would do well to visit a junkyard or two and see if you can find a good donor.
Off top my head your going to need.
Instrument cluster, wire harness to ECU, ECU, shifter, shift linkage, little brackets to hold shift linkage, center console inset for shifter, foot rest, clutch pedal, clutch master cylinder, clutch reservoir and brackets, clutch lines, clutch line brackets, engine harness, throttle body, flywheel, flywheel bolts, transmission, transmission mount, clutch, might as well toss in a new isb and seals while your at it. Figure tow to Honda and fees for getting keys flashed.
I severely dislike working under cars in the junkyard due to all the broken glass usually mixed into the **** mud but the cost savings is incredible when trying to do a swap like that.
