Ok my quest for more engine research has me asking is the Injen intercooler a direct bolt up from the pics and vids I've seen it looks like it simply bolts on. However all of these have been with the front bumper off the car. My question is will the factory bumper have to be cut out similar to what many PT GT Turbo's did to get more air or will the factory bumper have enough room to accomidate the intercooler.

Fits without modification, fitted perfectly on my 17' Si coupe, other then one end of the tank coming not even tapped! Read this was somewhat a common defect with some of the initial batch, threaded it myself and didn't even bother with a claim or anything, was an easy fix. No issues whatsoever, about 1,000 miles in since install.
