Vibrations coming from 2001 Honda Civic Coupe

Hello All,
I need some advice with my Honda civic 2001 coupe. I am getting strong vibration when my car is in idle; I hear the vibrations coming from the right rear side of the car. It sound like the muffler but, I just resently had a new Muffler (magaflow and Cat) installed. the mechanic even welded the muffler hooks to the under body instead of using the hangers.

I read in a few places that it could be an engine mount or spark plugs any advice?

Have you looked under the hood while you're idling? If the engine is really shaking more than the rest of the car, it could be a mount. How does it feel when you accelerate rapidly from a stop? Any ?

Poopies,
I do not get any check engine lights; but I do see that the engine does shake when I opened the hood. How much would you say I can expect to pay for new mounts parts and labor?

Look to the rear of the car and find the source of your vibration/noise, not the engine or mounts.

I wouldn't let your mechanic tie my shoes.

The entire exhaust needs to be free to move around as the engine moves. Maybe one of those welded hangers finally broke free.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all your replies; one person told me that it might just be my spark plugs. So I was planning on changing them this weekend along with my oil.

+1 I have build several exhaust for cars, it needs to move or it will vibrate loose and start breaking (usually hangers first) it sounds like that welder was being lazy, and then pointed it out as if it where a good thing.
