I'm not too worried about putting on the mileage due to excessive high resale value of Civics... In fact, recently I saw a '01 Civic LX, with 40,000km, selling for $18,100!! Brand new ones are $18,200... lol... pretty ridicious.
Plus I know this bald moron, who bought a '99 Civic Coupe DX (no power window, locks, no A/C, no CD, no nothin').. 100,000km... hey paid $13,000 for it, and he thought he got a deal of a life time. DX Coupe in '99 probably sold for around $16,000... so whoever had this car, drove 50,000km a year for two years, and took a $3000 hit!! lol... and this is officially a last generation Civic too (being 6th Gen and all)
So many dumb kids out there that just want "Civics" "Civics" "Civics".. if idiots are willing to pay $13Gs for that beatup old *** basic Civic, I figure I could probably sell my car to some crackhead moron for $18,000 now, as is (with 17" rims, projo headlamps).. I mean it's technically "fully loaded" too... automatic tranny... power windows..locks.. steering.. mirrors..CD player... 6 speakers.. even micron air filter
plus it's a current model...
This is why I narrowed my choices down to Civic or Corolla when I was car shopping. Protege was nice and Sentra was quick.. but in the end... Civics/Corollas save you money. And lots of it!

hah i think i saw 01civic say "high resale value" like in 10 threads heh........ well thats true high resale value but still someone would rather pick 20000 km over 10000000000 km
i have just over 18,000 since sept '01... and my parents are giving me ****... i drove to boston, i live pretty far from school... and it's still relatively low... some of you guys must be living in your cars.
same here man...my dad always complain about me going to markham/richmond hill area so often and b!tching all the time...i can't wait until i buy my own car and drive whereever the f#ck i want without getting lecture when i get home
