Honda civic (no power)

Hi guys I have a honda civic ex 1994 it hasn't been working for two or three days now. I thought it was my battery that went bad so I went to go buy a new one and still nothing. Now my car has no power at all so I checked the fuses under the hood and I seen the (80A fuse) was blown so I went to buy a new one and as soon as I connected the battery back up the fuse had blown again can someone please help me out what can the problem be??

Blows the 80A fuse?
Sounds like you got the battery hooked up backwards. (first guess)
