Cooling System Issue - Please Help!
Cooling System Issue - Please Help!
Hey everybody,
I need some help. I've got a 1994 civic lx sedan with a d15b7/d16z6 mini me on it and it was sitting for a little over a month. Since then, I've been having nothing but problems with the cooling system. I've replaced both radiator hoses, the heater core hose, the thermostat twice and the radiator itself. I put an OE brand stat in it from Napa and now it overpressurizes, the bottom hose doesn't get warm, which would lead me to believe the tstat isn't opening, the fan doesn't turn on and I'm losing coolant. There's no milky oil, no oil in the coolant, no steady bubbles from the mouth of the radiator, and it will warm up, but not overheat. I haven't taken it on any long drives to avoid the potential of a hose bursting on me. But I would assume, like any car sucking up coolant, that it would overheat eventually. Any ideas? Please? I've been chasing my tail on this car for a while and I'm tired of spending money to not fix the problem. I just want it done...
