what can i do with b16 engine? 94 civic lx

i have a 94 civic lx, says its 16 valve, cousin told me it is a b16 engine. what is it exactly and what kind of modding can i do? how much hp?

B16....what.. Any letters or numbers after b16?

To check, stand facing your car with the good popped, stare down into the engine bay where the transmission and engine block meet. You should see the engine stamp which tells you what it is. Refer to the image below (found on google)
